Quick Healthy Meal Ideas

In a hurry and looking for healthy delicious meals that can be prepared fast?

Here’s a list of quick recipes that will be on the table within a few minutes:

Greek-style roast fish

You can enjoy the oven-baked white fish along with the fillets of tomatoes, herbs, and potatoes for a healthy and calorie-free dinner. You will enjoy a different taste with the Greek-style roasted fish, and you will love to bake the recipe again and again. Ideal in a Mediterranean diet. 


     Potatoes, five, small, scrubbed and cut into small pieces (about 400 gram)
     Onion, one, medium in size, sliced and halved.
     Garlic cloves, two, chopped roughly.
     Dried oregano, half teaspoon or fresh oregano, half tablespoon.
     Olive oil, two tablespoons.
     Lemon, half, cut into wedges.
     Tomatoes, two, large, cut into small pieces.
     Skinless Pollock fillets, two, fresh (almost 200 grams)
     Parsley, as needed.


Step 1
Heat the microwave oven to about 200 degree Celsius.

Step 2
Take a roasting tin and tip the onion, oregano, potatoes and olive oil, season, mix all the ingredients with the help of your hands to coat each and everything in the olive oil. Roast it for about 15 minutes. Turn the sides and bake for almost 15 minutes more.

Step 3
Add the tomatoes and lemon and roast for approximately 10 minutes. Top with the fish fillets and bake for 10 more minutes. Scatter the parsley over the dish. Serve it immediately and enjoy the food.

Chocolate calzone

You can have chocolate calzone with Nutella. You can enjoy every single bite of it.


For Dough
  • Flour 1 kg
  • Dried yeast 1 x 7 g or Fresh yeast 5g
  • Caster Sugar 1 tablespoon.

For homemade Nutella Filling

  • Golden Caster Sugar 100 g
  • Hazelnuts 350 g
  • Dark Chocolate 450 g
  • Double Cream 225 ml
  • Unsalted butter 150 g

Step 1
Preheat the microwave oven to about 400º Fahrenheit /200º Celsius.

Step 2
For the dough, take flour and add one pinch of salt in it and mix it well.

Step 3
Take a jug, add sugar, yeast, and water. Leave it for some time until it begins to froth.

Step 4
Bring the flour in and spin it into liquid. Mix and incorporate the flour to make a rough dough. Make a wet, smooth and springy dough with the help of flour-dusted hands.

Step 5
Cover the dough with a wet cloth. Allow to leave it in a hot place for some time until the mixture gets double in size.

Step 6
To make the filling, take a baking tray and spread the hazelnuts. Place the baking dish in the oven for about 10 minutes. Allow it to cool.

Step 7
Reserve some toasted nuts, place the rest of the nuts into the food processor, add sugar in it. Make a smooth paste.

Step 8
Take a heatproof bowl and snap the chocolate in it. Turn on the heat. Stir it until all the chocolate melts.

Step 9
Add butter and cream, stir it until it becomes smooth. Add a pinch of salt and paste of hazelnuts.

Step 10
Divide the dough into several portions and roll each piece into round shape.

Step 11
Add the chocolate mixture at one side of every round pastry, fold the cake into the half-moon shape. Crimp the edges to seal. 

Step 12
Take a frying pan and pour some butter to it. Heat on low-medium heat. Add calzones in it. Cook for approximately 10 minutes until they are crispy.

Step 13
Chop the toasted nuts.

Step 14
Slice the calzones into halves. Serve it immediately. If you have some remaining chocolate, drizzle it on the top.

Blue cheese & apple burger

These are the best super easy burgers to make at home. The blue cheese and apple burgers are different from the regular burgers. You can enjoy a different taste, and you will cook on your own.


  • Quality minced chuck steak, 750 grams
  • Soft round lettuce, one
  • Braeburn or Cox apples, two
  • Blue cheese, 120 gram
  • American mustard
  • Olive Oil
  • Cress, one punnet
  • Burger buns, six


Step 1
You can make the burgers at least one hour before you require to make them. Split the mince into several portions and take each ball in your hands for some time, this will help you to melt the fat, and you can mold the balls into a round, and flat patty. Note that the balls are more significant than the bun because when they cook, they will shrink.

Step 2
Take a tray, pop them on it and cover them with cling film and place in the fridge to chill.

Step 3
Get the toppings ready before you are going to cook the burgers. Take the lettuce leaves, wash and dry them. Cut the cress, slice apples into small pieces. Squeeze the blue cheese into small pieces and place everything at one side.

Step 4
Preheat the grill at high temperature. Take a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and add oil to the pan.

Step 5
Fry the burgers for almost 5 minutes on every side. You can also season the patties with the black pepper.

Step 6
Halve and toast the buns on a hot grill, line them up.

Step 7
Top each of the burgers with blue cheese under the grill for some time until they are yummy.

Step 8
Start building the burgers. Set the salad leaves and apples on the buns, following the mustard.

Step 9
Top the burgers with the cress. Serve immediately.
